“I stayed busy while trying to meet my goal,” says Carrie. As soon as she enrolled, Carrie made the most of her resources. She visited her Employment Specialist regularly to work on her resume and plan her career goals. Soon, she found a part-time job that got her in the right direction, but she was determined to move up quickly. With support from her team, she used her off-hours to prepare for the upcoming Career Fair at FSC.
Carrie followed her staff’s advice to a tee. With professional attire and an air of confidence, she attended the job fair, and met her new employers! Carrie was immediately offered two interviews for different positions with Mayville Engineering. Her FSET staff followed up with the company, and Carrie got the job – Â full-time with benefits!
She plans to grow with this great company and eventually buy her home. She insists that the support of her FSET team was “a huge help” in providing the direction and opportunities she needed to succeed. Congratulations, Carrie! We look forward to seeing where you go in the future.
