Upward bound makes college possible
Are you dreaming of going to college but don’t know how to get there? Then Upward Bound is for you. We’ve been working with low-income, first generation college-bound students for more than 20 years and have hundreds of graduates with degrees.
High School to Higher Education
Upward Bound is life changing. At school, you’ll have access to tutoring and support. During the summer, you’ll get the chance to experience college life by living on a college campus and taking classes. Throughout it all, you’ll make friends and gain experiences that will ensure your success after high school.
Forward Service Corporation runs Upward Bound in these school districts:
Madison East High School
Talk to your guidance counselor to see if there is a program at your school if you’re interested in Upward Bound but you don’t live in the above districts.

Where we offer Upward Bound
- Green Lake
Sean says that now he’s in the career that he’d dreamed of for years. His journey began in high school when he joined the Upward Bound program. Knowing his family’s eyes were on him as the first to go to college, he worked hard to prepare and earn his degree. During college, he served as a counselor in our Upward Bound summer program. This made him realize he wanted to pay it forward and work for UB after graduation. Like many things, it didn’t come immediately or easily, but Sean showed persistence and was hired as an instructor. Now he provides students with the support that once made all the difference to him. Congratulations Sean. We’re so happy to have you on team FSC.
