Renee’s Success

Congratulations, Renee! She’s recently secured a clerical position with the State of Michigan. 😊

Before we met her, Renee had been working as an administrative assistant in her father’s business. She never expected it to suddenly close, and Renee wasn’t sure she had the skills or expertise needed to thrive in another position. A combination of unemployment and a toxic relationship crushed her confidence, until Renee decided to break free and join Wisconsin Works.

Working with our team kindled Renee’s hope for the future. W-2 helped Renee support her family financially, strategize for success, and pinpoint her goals. We also connected her to the Salvation Army’s Pathways of Hope program, which works seamlessly with W-2 to help parents break out of poverty and create better lives for their children.

Plus, Renee bolstered her resume by joining FSC’s Office Professionals course. Renee says that she “adores” her instructor, Linnea, for providing engaging challenges and encouragement as she gained new skills. Soon, she felt prepared to get back into the workforce.

Today, Renee is working for the State of Michigan through Robert Half. She says this job means the world to her, and she’s happy to have this opportunity to prove herself in the field.

Great job!
