Help When You Need It
If you’re about to lose your home or have utilities shut off, Emergency Assistance may be able to help.
You can provide a safe home for your family. If you have dependent children living with you, please call 1-800-771-8420 or visit one of our offices for assistance.
Please contact us if you can’t afford your rent or mortgage or have received an eviction notice or foreclosure notice.
We help families make a first month’s payment or pay their security deposit, so they can move into a safe home. If you are living in a shelter or temporary living place, have left your home due to domestic violence, or have lost your home to fire, flood, or natural disaster, please contact us.
Let us know if your heat or electricity bill is past due, if you have received a disconnect notice for your utilities, or if they’ve already been shut off. We may be able to help you make a utilities payment.
You can apply for Emergency Assistance online or in person at a video kiosk in your county.
