Dominique made smart moves this year. The first one was hard: leaving everything behind to begin a better life. The second one made it all worthwhile: beginning her new life with FSET.
Dominique made record speed getting back on track after moving away from a tough situation. “Dominique had great motivation,” says Karissa, who worked closely with her. FSET helped her with transportation assistance, job leads, housing, and food resources during her work search.
Her big break came when they discussed her previous experience as a caregiver. “We immediately called Our House Senior Living to set her up for a Work Experience,” said Karissa. “Instead, they offered her an interview.”
Dominique was hired on full-time later that week. Plus, she got a part-time job at a local resort. This month, she is moving into her new apartment and feels relieved to have both housing and job security so quickly. “I really love all the staff here!!!” she tells us. She says they gave her the focus and support she needed to achieve her goals.
