Cassie has always been the mom you can depend on. She had been steadily employed until last October, when suddenly she found herself looking for work. With a child at home, she joined Wisconsin Works determined to show employers that she was still in the game.
Intelligent and compassionate, Cassie loves to stay busy. When she learned that she could get a work experience at the front desk at the Job Center while in the Wisconsin Works program, she was eager to sign up. She learned clerical skills and felt helpful every day while working with customers like herself. Plus, she always felt like she was part of the team, which made it easy to approach the staff for help with her own job search.
Cassie was especially excited to participate in the Forward Impact Workshop and Customer Service Professional Training. Before long, she got a new job in sales. When she moved, she was glad to find that her skills could be put to work right away with a job in her new town. Cassie is proud to be back at work, and we could not be happier to see that you are doing well at your new home. Congratulations, Cassie!
